Optional After Sales Services

Our standard fee includes vehicle searches for up to three months, purchasing a car on your behalf, using our auction accounts to make payment, registering your ownership with the DVLA, processing a third-party warranty if you'd like one and, depending on the service you have requested, arranging for the car to be delivered either to our offices for further preparation or directly to your home. Furthermore, if you have asked us to prepare the car we also include a free road test within our standard service.


However, if you want or need any further help to make it into the perfect car for you, we offer the mechanical and other services below. To simplify the process we have all work completed for you at the trade rates that we pay ourselves and charge you a flat fee of £149 to deal with everything. We can help you with: new tyres, parking sensors, dash cams, reversing cameras, paint and bodywork, paint tidy up (touch up and machine polishing), MOTs, mechanical work, servicing, mechanical inspections, sat nav installation, servicing (interim, full, complete), valets, alloy repair and refurbs, and windscreen repairs.


We use our contacts to save you a whole lot of time and hassle, and in most instances our fee is (much) more than covered by the savings that you make as you benefit from the trade prices that we have negotiated through the volume of business we are able to offer to the companies that we use. In practice, most customers make significant financial savings if they use us to arrange any of the additional services listed below and they are all saved a lot of time and trouble.

All These Extra Services at Trade Rates for a Single Logistics Fee of £149

For a single logistics fee of £149 we will deal with: partner garage mechanical inspections, mechanical work, servicing, MOTs, new tyres and windscreen replacements or repairs.  We arrange all of these services, parts and labour at trade rates, and do all of the running around for you.  We believe in complete transparency and you get copies of all invoices and receipts. All labour will be at trade rates. These will be dependent on the best partner garage for your work, but we typically pay £20 - £25 less than public hourly rate, and get parts at a fraction of the prices you’d be charged if you bought them yourself and even less than if you had a garage supply them.

Mechanical inspection

We very much recommend you have one of our preferred mechanics check your new car to confirm all is well.  You can trust that they will not find work that doesn't need doing, but will give impartial advice to help you make informed decisions and ensure your car is all that you want it to be.

Mechanical work
Often people are changing cars due to the approaching deadlines of mechanical servicing tasks.  A good example of this is a cambelt service which the majority of modern cars require routinely.  We will factor these costs into your purchase budget, but with our reduced parts and labour you can make significant savings.
Servicing
All parts and labour at trade rates, whether you prefer just an oil and filter service, right up to a full service (oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter and spark plugs). Our garages are also happy to use a common sense approach whereby they only replace parts which require replacement and bill accordingly.
MOT including retest and advisories
MOT and any subsequent parts and labour required to act on advisories, all at trade rates.
Full or part valet
If you’d like to get your car with that ‘like new’ feel inside, we can take your car for a mini or full valet at our negotiated trade rate and collect it once the valet is completed. (from £20)

New tyres

New tyres, (budget, mid-range or top-range) at trade rates, fitted and balanced.

Windscreen

Windscreen repairs

Chips filled or screens replaced, all at trade rates.

Paint tidy up
If you’d like a quick tidy up, we can touch up scratches and machine polish away many paint imperfections (with paint at trade rates, mixed to match the manufacturer’s paint code).
Paint and bodywork
As much paint or bodywork as your car needs (or you would like), at trade rates.
Alloy refurb
As many wheels as you like, at trade rates. We will deliver your car and collect it once work is completed.
Sound system repair or upgrade
We use our contacts to obtain trade rates to repair or enhance the sound system in your car as required.
Sat Nav or stereo installation
We will recommend a Sat Nav and/or stereo system for your car, purchase it and have it installed at trade rate.  Alternatively, you are welcome to order one yourself, and have it delivered to us for installation.
AA/RAC mechanical inspection
The AA and RAC offer a variety of levels of service and we are happy to arrange these on your instructions. You choose the level of service that you would like, we arrange the inspection on your behalf.
